The estate:
Located at the bottom of the Saint Amour hill, the Clos de la Brosse is one of the best areas in Saint Amour thanks to excellent sun exposure and the age of its vines. It is one of the twelve “climats” that can be found in Saint Amour.
M. LeBeaupin is one of the last inflexibles to vinify in wooden oaks so as to develop the typicity of his terroir: kirsh aromas and spices; The vat is closed with a weighted grill that maintains the grapes in their juice. It allows a better extraction of the colour, the tannins and the aromas; The winemaking is slow and natural. The ageing is done in wooden vats, (vat n°4).
Tasting:
Fruity red berry flavours, blackberry and spices with a deep and voluptuous body.
|
Suggestions:
Drink it with red meats, wildfowl, sugar/salt meal association as Pad Thai.
|
Ageing:
You can keep this wine up to 5 years.
