The vines with southern exposure are planted on a poor well-drained sandy soil, on a pink-coloured granite bedrock. |
| Wine making process |
Hand-harvest, transport of the grapes in smalll trays to avoid crushing. After selection on a sorting table the grapes are vatted trough a conveyor belt. Tradition Beaujolais winemaking (semi-carbonic maceration) with a 16 days extraction period. Then pressing and ageig on the lees on tank. |
Tasting
|
The first impression is supple and crisp. Only afterwards the wine reveals its structure, with lots of fruit end grip. The tannins are perfectly ripe and well-sustained by a mineral liveness. |
