| Grape variety |
Gamay noir with white juice. The oldest vines are more than 100 years old but on average they are about 40. |
| Soil |
Decomposed pink granite with a mix of sand and pebbles. The soil contains little clay, so it drains well. Hence an excellent maturity of the grapes. |
| Wine making process |
Wine-making under controlled temperature with total de-stemming. Maceration between 15 and 20 days under continuing temperature control. Few months maturing in 2 / 5 years old oak barrels. This wine is not filtered in order to preserve its complexity. |
