BROUILLY Château de la Terrière 2019 shines with 2 stars in GUIDE HACHETTE 2022

Our Brouilly Château de la Terrière 2019 shines with 2 stars in the last Guide Hachette des Vins 2022, a selection of the 8’000 best wines of France. (Reference for more than 30 years)
“Coup de Coeur” with the 2018 vintage, this Brouilly is featured again in those pages with a seductive 2019 vintage, offering an intense ripe red fruits nose complemented by some spices. Seduction carries on the palate where the wine is generous, rich and fleshy, displaying the same intense fruitiness with velvety tannins.

MOULIN A VENT Château de la Terrière Le Moulin 2018 1 star
Short in volume but tall in quality, this cuvée was born from 50 ares of 50 years old vines. On the nose, ripe black fruits aromas and elegant floral and liquorice notes. On the palate, the wine is generous, fleshy, dense, extended by a nice spicy final and supported by well-integrated tannins.
RÉGNIÉ Château de la Terrière Vin Sauvage à Poil 2019 1 star
The natural wine of the estate, without added sulphite, was born from vines planted on La Sibérie plot. This Regnié offers a fruity nose (blackcurrant, cherry, currant) embellished by some peony and spicy notes. The palate is fleshy, rich, pleasant, supported by ripe and integrated tannins and by a freshness assuring the balance.
SAINT-AMOUR Domaine de la Pirolette Le Carjot 2018 1 star
Coming from 60 years old vines planted on the 5 hectares Le Carjot plot, this cuvée offers intense fragrances of ripe fruits (blueberry, sour cherry), violet and sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is round, dense and spicy with fine tannins and a nice freshness tip.
BEAUJOLAIS Les Pierres Dorées Domaine Romy Vieilles Vignes 2020 1 star
Some old 60 years old vines gave birth to this cuvée, often highlighted in those pages (“coup de Coeur” on the 2017 vintage). The 2020 version is seducing straight away with its elegant and harmonious nose of red fruits, spices and peony. The attack is supple, the wine being round, tender and fresh – well-balanced in short – complemented by integrated tannins.
IMPÉRIAL ROSÉ Domaine Romy  2020 1 star
A pretty pale and expressive pink color, with red berries and floral notes. Supple, fresh and harmonious on the palate with a beautiful length.
MÂCON SOLUTRÉ Maison Auvigue 2019 1 star
This Mâcon-Solutré is seducing straight away with its fresh and lemony nose. Charm carries on with a well-balanced palate, round and lively at the same time, holding the length.
CÔTES DU RHÔNE La Renjardière 2019 – 1 star
From this bright ruby colour breaking out some racy fragrances of sour cherry, menthol and garrigue. A charming attack opens up a developed palate with integrated and slightly roasted tannins. A warm and soft final. A wine showing well in its vintage and ready to drink
