The subtle nose on this wine suggests creamy apricot. Gentleness and creaminess carry over to a smooth but warm and textured palate. Freshness and a touch of pleasantly bitter pith counter the fruit and creates a bright and long finish.

Pouilly-Fuissé « Vieilles Vignes » 2018 – 90/100

Hazelnut, cream and ripe pear combine subtly on the rounded nose of this wine. The palate adds more fruit to proceedings with ripe Mirabelle juiciness and a little heat. The finish is dry, long and smooth.

Pouilly-Fuissé « Aux Chailloux » 2018 – 90/100

The subtle nose on this wine gives glimpses of creamy oatmeal, while both roundness and lemony, pithy brightness define the palate. The body has rich fruit and a little heat from the 2018 vintage but manages to be balanced and fresh.

Pouilly-Fuissé « Les Crays » 2018 – 90/100

Subtle notes of pear have an overtone of citrus. On the palate of this wine, lemony brightness takes over to present fruity refreshment. The finish shows notes of mellow apple and vivid freshness.

Saint-Véran Moulin du Pont 2018 – 90/100
Dried hayflower and toasted hazelnut make for an appetizing nose on this wine. The palate has concentration and a wonderful sense of structure and backbone. This wine is full bodied but fresh, and the bone-dry nature lets the herbal aromatics speak.
